Job Summary:

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist Clinic Specialist to join our team. As a collaborative member of the clinic team, you will play a vital role in providing continuity of and quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Registration and insurance verification for patients
  • Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to patient inquiries
  • Performing other functions related to patient check-in and check-out

Qualifications:

  • Minimum knowledge, skills, and experience required
  • Course in ultrasound technology with college prerequisites or sufficient on-the-job experience for registry eligibility
  • Certification in diagnostic ultrasound through registry is preferred within two years of employment
  • High School diploma or GED required
