We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Infirmary Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures to produce high-quality clinical images.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures to produce clinical diagnostic images according to established standards and practices.
- Operate Imaging Equipment: Safely and effectively operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Education and Certification: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound program, and registry through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI as a Registered Sonographer within 6 months of entry into position.
- Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of Sonography, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.
- Additional Certifications: Possession of additional certifications, such as BLS certification, may be required for specific departments.
- Working Knowledge of Second Modality: Working knowledge of a second modality is a plus.
