Client Financial Services Supervisor

We are in search of a Client Financial Services Supervisor who possesses a robust background in accounting and bookkeeping tailored for external clientele. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional client service within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will exhibit enthusiasm as a team player and demonstrate a service-oriented mindset, alongside experience in managing client projects, overseeing departmental workflow, and facilitating the training and development of team members.

Key Client Responsibilities:

1. Execute accounting services, which encompass bank and general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, compilation of financial statements, and the creation/maintenance of financial forecasts.

2. Assist with quarterly and annual payroll and sales tax reporting, as well as the preparation processes for annual 1099 and property tax returns for clients.

3. Prepare and scrutinize work papers and financial statements.

4. Review engagement deliverables to ensure compliance with firm and professional standards.

5. Oversee the engagement and workflow of all client deliverables across multiple clients and projects to mitigate risk and enhance service quality.

6. Proactively identify advantageous KPIs to discuss with clients, offer value-added consulting, and explore potential service expansions.

7. Keep the Senior Manager informed regarding client updates, engagement status, budget compliance, and any technical challenges.

8. Actively identify and implement suitable delegation opportunities for departmental responsibilities.

9. Continuously enhance technical expertise in accounting and financial reporting through participation in continuing professional education courses or utilizing other training resources.

- Demonstrated experience in team supervision with accountability.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.

- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting systems, programs, concepts, and regulations.

- Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in the field.

- At least 2 years of leadership experience in processes and personnel, working closely with management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to master additional software programs being essential.

Annual base pay: $85,000 - $115,000 annually
