About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Lightning Protection Installer. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing lightning protection cabling on roofs and on the ground, digging and trenching, and working with hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install lightning protection cabling on roofs and on the ground
  • Dig and trench as required
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Travel to job sites within a 1-hour drive
  • Occasionally stay overnight on jobs that are farther away, with hotel and per diem provided
  • Read and interpret construction blueprints
  • Ensure compliance with job site-specific safety requirements
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving history
  • Clean criminal history (background check required for federal construction sites)
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, walk on pitched roofs, and lift up to 80lbs
  • Hardworking and comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and in the sun
Preferred Qualifications
  • Construction experience

We offer a 2-year apprenticeship program that will train you in the aspects of lightning protection and lead you to a certification as a Lightning Protection Journeyman Installer.
