Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and deliver a diverse range of programs and activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents, including spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional events.
- Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a sense of community and belonging among our residents.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations, non-profit groups, and educational institutions to bring new and exciting opportunities to our residents.
- Communication and Marketing: Create and publish professional written communications to promote programs, educate residents and families, and share success stories.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Monitor resident participation and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure a high level of engagement.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in active aging and generational trends, sharing knowledge with colleagues and staff to enhance our services.
- Education: High school graduation or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: CPR and AED certification required within the first 60 days of employment; activities certification desired.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; proficiency in Microsoft Office and other company software.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering exceptional resident experiences. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on customer service and resident satisfaction.
