Liberty Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team.

We provide state-of-the-art care and pain management services to our patients, delivered by our specially trained staff with emphasis on strength, dignity and compassion.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of nursing theories and concepts, and be responsible for care and documentation of care which meets reimbursement guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying a working knowledge of nursing theories and concepts.
  • Coordinating physical care of the patient with family, patient, physician and Hospice team.
  • Communicating with patients/families at all levels.
  • Attending and participating in IDT meetings and quality review as scheduled by agency.

Requirements include:

  • Current RN licensure in state of practice.
  • Successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing.
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience and at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
