About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Customer Service Representative to join our team at Blue Horizon Solutions. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned customer base and contribute to the development of customer relationships
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers and network partners for international freight transports
  • Proactively initiate contact with customers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Monitor shipments and provide feedback to customers on the status of their deliveries
  • Handle delivery obstacles and process complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare order data in our freight software for smooth invoicing and review invoices in electronic clearing programs
  • Cash collection and damage reporting are also key responsibilities of this role
Requirements
  • Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics specialist or a comparable qualification
  • Previous work experience in the direct freight forwarding industry
  • Fluent German skills and good English skills are advantageous
  • A high level of commitment and a team player mentality
  • Strong communication skills, good expression, and a confident demeanor
