Marketing Instructor

Job Summary:

The Department of Business and Economics at Salve Regina University is seeking a pool of eligible adjunct faculty to teach marketing-related courses. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for preparing and instructing classes, grading assignments and exams, and providing a course syllabus to students and department chair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lectures, discussions, and other instructional activities to students
• Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
• Grade student assignments, exams, and other assessments in a timely manner
• Provide feedback to students on their performance and progress
• Use learning management systems (LMS) to disseminate course materials, grades, and other information to students
• Hold office hours to meet with students and provide support
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Marketing or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)
• Professional and/or teaching experience in marketing or a related field
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technologies
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field
• Experience teaching marketing courses at the college level
• Publication record in marketing or a related field
