Responsibilities:

  • Generate outside leads and prospect new business opportunities through market research, referrals, and staying informed on market trends and changes.
  • Effectively grow and manage the client pipeline from lead generation to client account management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while explaining our services and benefits to potential and existing clients.
  • Maintain client relationships through regular visits, phone calls, emails, and promotional materials.
  • Utilize various tools and resources to maximize business potential, such as researching market changes, qualifying businesses' needs, and executing high-yielding call plans and strategies.
  • Develop an understanding of clients' businesses and their needs to best represent and sell our services.
  • Typical schedule - Monday (admin day/generating leads/home office) Tuesday-Friday out in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence for building relationships.
  • 2+ years of outside sales experience within a high-end value logistics company.
  • Ability to live within the Los Angeles area or within a 20-30 mile radius of Los Angeles.
  • Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous companies and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and execute sales initiatives.
  • Excellent organization and time management capabilities, including being a team player.
  • Ability to execute job functions through creative and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Able to pass a background screen.
