Job Summary

Rite-Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Engineer/Web Developer to support the development, configuration, and sustainment of tactical software and web-based development projects.


The successful candidate will develop and manage web applications related to US Navy visualization and command and control of autonomous vehicles. This work entails developing front-end browser applications, maintaining and updating communications protocols, and integrating new capability into existing Code 45 applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage web applications using NodeJS, Angular, React, or VueJS
  • Troubleshoot issues during testing and production
  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and software configuration management
  • Maintain regular communications with customer and functional team leads
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • US citizenship and active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field with minimum 5 years' experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of web development tools and practices, and software engineering and development
  • Experience with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux/Unix administration
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, and Ruby
  • Experience with configuration management and source control tools, such as Git/Git Runner/Jira

Additional Skills:

  • Code development using Java, Python, C++
  • Develop and maintain automated build, test, deployment, and infrastructure tools
  • Experience performing troubleshooting in mission-critical infrastructures
  • Knowledge of Defense industry standards and practices
  • Knowledge of industry trends, IT operations, and industry best practices
