Job Title: SATCOM Analyst

STI-TEC is seeking a highly skilled SATCOM Analyst to join our team. As a SATCOM Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Wideband C-SSEs. This position will require extensive interaction with various stakeholders, including government and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide transmissions management and network management of Wideband SATCOM Operational Management System (WSOMS) and other MILSATCOM C2 programs.
  • Serve as technical consultant for transmissions management and control in the Super High Frequency (SHF) functional area.
  • Develop/coordinate policy and plans for the WGS, GBS, and DSCS programs.
  • Develop definitive technical solutions that consider systems architecture, interoperability, interfaces, protocols, networking, expansion potential, and overall end-to-end compatibility.
  • Participate as consultant, advisor, or member in various Department of Defense (DoD), Joint, and MILDEP planning and working groups.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions to future communications and automation operational challenges.
  • Use knowledge of satellite communications systems and their relationships to other telecommunications networks.
  • Provides technical and operational planning, system configuration, and operational mission support.
  • Develop, prepare, and coordinate wideband satellite communications and related information systems plans defining concepts, programmatic, and system initiatives.
  • Develops and provides input to the Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
  • Responsible for Management of C2 MILSATCOM network management programs.
Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Department of Defense (DOD) SATCOM.
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree or higher.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SATCOM principles, technical analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Must have a TS with SCI eligibility.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
