Key Responsibilities- Learn and apply advanced utility locating techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation to identify and mark underground utility lines.
- Develop a thorough understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
- Partner with experienced locators to provide accurate and timely locate services to our clients.
- Operate a variety of utility locating equipment, including ground-penetrating radar and electromagnetic locators.
- Document findings using digital mapping tools to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, often in remote locations, and adapt to changing weather conditions.
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Hold a valid State driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Have a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Routinely work alone in remote locations, often with arms above shoulder level, and perform tasks that require fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, lifting up to 55 pounds, and carrying electronic locating equipment.
- Occasionally work in confined spaces, climb stairs, and walk on uneven ground and terrain.
- Facility maintenance, technician, route driver, meter reading, landscaping, working outdoors, pest control, surveying, military, and underground utility locating experience are highly valued.
We offer a competitive salary range of $20-$24 per hour, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including paid training, weekly paychecks, company vehicle and fuel card, work boot voucher, paid time off, parental leave, holidays, insurance, 401(k) with company match, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and legal insurance.
