Job Summary:
St. Paul's School is seeking a part-time Swim Team Support Staff member to provide lifeguard coverage for our community and perform essential duties as a certified Red Cross Lifeguard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide lifeguard coverage for community and perform essential duties as a certified Red Cross Lifeguard.
- Supervise and ensure safety around the pool.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures and rescue skills.
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
Requirements:
- Current Red Cross lifeguard certification and CPR for Professional Rescuer/First Aid certification required.
- Able to pass the Red Cross Pretest for Lifeguard Certification.
- Must be a strong swimmer.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Available Shifts:
- Wednesday and Friday 6:00am - 7:30am
- Sundays 1:00pm - 4:00pm
- Shifts may be available Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 5:30pm
