**Job Overview:**

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our team at WSP in California. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for leading environmental remediation projects from conception to completion.

About the Role:

  • Design, oversee, mentor, and direct the efforts of staff- and project-level engineers.
  • Perform business development within the oil & gas and industrial/commercial sectors for environmental remediation, engineering, and related services.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and proposals.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, schedules, and budgets are met.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to execute project goals and business development.
  • Meet sales, revenue, and delivery targets.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
  • 7-12 years of experience in environmental remediation and sales.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and excellent communication skills.
  • Prior experience working with remediation/assessment projects involving Regional Quality Water Quality Control Board, DTSC, and/or local CUPAs.
  • Ability to work with, mentor, and direct engineers and technicians.
  • Candidate should have experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board, and other CalEPA programs.
  • Must have consulting experience with petroleum contamination cleanups in soil and groundwater, including LNAPL, and/or chlorinated solvent contamination consulting experience for remediation of soil and groundwater.
  • Experience in soil gas and vapor intrusion issues is essential.
  • Developing and managing complex engineering design and design-build projects.
  • Oversee remedy construction and operation/maintenance of environmental project work.
  • Pass a drug test, physical, background check, and have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Compensation Package:

The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000-$145,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, WSP offers a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout your career.
