We are seeking a skilled Environmental Remediation Project Manager to join our team at LVI Associates.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and manage environmental remediation projects from initiation to completion.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, geology, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage environmental remediation projects, coordinating with stakeholders and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment with environmental standards.
- Site Assessments: Conduct site assessments, data collection, and analysis to identify contaminants and evaluate site conditions.
- Remediation Plans: Develop and implement remediation plans in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental remediation and consulting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EPA, RCRA, CERCLA).
- Proficient in data analysis software and GIS applications.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
