Industrial Maintenance Manager

At Visionary Recruiting Solutions, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to oversee and coordinate the maintenance team involved in the installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience in leading a maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of production machinery and support equipment.
  • Assist the team in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
  • Leverage CMMS (Maximo) to identify high-wear parts and incorporate them into preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Foster a positive working environment within the maintenance department and across other departments.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
  • Lead the maintenance team in effectively utilizing Maximo.
  • Work with team members to identify skill gaps and develop tailored training plans to enhance individual performance.
  • Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Research and execute capital expenditure projects.
Requirements:
  • Technical degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Strong experience in industrial electrical (3-phase) controls and devices, along with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, welding, and machining.
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
