Responsibilities

As an Epidemiology Investigator, your primary duties will include:

  • Investigating and analyzing data on emergency medical services, trauma care, and public health
  • Developing and implementing statistical models and data analysis techniques
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and researchers to identify trends and patterns in data
  • Creating reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Participating in quality assurance initiatives to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in public health or a related field
  • At least 3 courses or 9 months of experience using statistical computer software packages
  • 1 course or 3 months of experience in epidemiology and statistics
  • 6 months of experience working in research or a laboratory setting
