About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Branch Manager to lead and manage a diverse team of direct and indirect reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading a highly defined customer engagement process, coaching to specific behaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience and drive growth in the business. This involves executing policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations, as well as audit and escalation procedures, and managing the allocation of people and financial resources for the branch.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Additionally, the candidate should have 2+ years of leadership experience and be able to build and inspire a team where adaptability, collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to success.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for:

  • Coaching, developing, and building a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business
  • Resolving low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business to meet Branch Network business objectives
  • Identifying opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenience
  • Leading the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experience
  • Mentoring and guiding talent development of direct reports and assisting in hiring talent

This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations.

The successful candidate will be able to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays and be able to travel in assigned geography up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months, depending on location.

This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.

The Loan Originator (LO) qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation.

Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary.
