Job Summary

We're seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support our branch sales and operations teams. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing the branch in the Branch Manager's absence, developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability, and coordinating procurement, inventory control, and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
  • Manage the branch in the Branch Manager's absence and assist with developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.
  • Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and sales operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Solve problems at the branch level, investigate customer complaints, and make necessary resource adjustments.
  • Manage operational branch-level problems, investigate inventory discrepancies, and make adjustments as required.
  • Serve customers and support the counter and inside sales functions as necessary.
  • Ensure all sales orders are billed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Schedule staff and analyze budgets and variances.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
  • Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred.
