Job Summary
A competitive $60,000 - $80,000/year salary is offered for this Personal Insurance Sales Agent position at an independent insurance agency in Grand Rapids. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with great communication skills, organized and knowledgeable regarding carriers such as Safeco, Progressive, American Modern, Aegis, National General, Pure.

About the Role
This role involves providing exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their insurance needs and inquiries. Responsibilities include conducting market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies to reach them, administering benefits programs, including enrollment and claims processing, and utilizing telemarketing techniques to generate leads and schedule appointments with potential clients. Accurate and up-to-date client records must be maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants should have 5+ years' experience in commercial insurance, a current P&C License, strong communication skills and customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
