Overview of the Position

In this role, you will serve as a vital resource for the coordination of patient transfers and the management of bed availability within the electronic health record (EHR) framework. Your expertise will be essential in harmonizing EHR applications with diverse clinical systems and information networks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal liaison for end-users interacting with the application.
  • Proactively detect and address issues within the application and across collaborative teams.
  • Support workflow design, system configuration, and technical troubleshooting associated with Epic software.
  • Implement system modifications as requested and facilitate communication between end-users and Epic personnel.
  • Ensure that the system meets organizational requirements through effective stakeholder collaboration.
  • Gather insights into operational needs to enhance organizational workflows.
  • Participate in user training sessions and provide ongoing technical assistance.
  • Regularly assess project progress and engage in discussions regarding deliverables with leadership.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and adaptability to changing user requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Mandatory Registered Nurse qualification.
  • At least two years of experience in House Supervisor or Bed Management roles.
  • Ability to obtain relevant Epic certifications within the initial phase of employment.
