Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding services to existing customers, and managing and growing the business through the sale of new service contracts within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Sell service and maintenance contracts, and other related services to end-user customers and expand services to existing customers.
- Meet Sales Goals: Achieve orders/booking and gross margin goals, as well as assigned annual booking quota.
- Market Share Growth: Create new market share by selling a broad range of services to new customers.
- Prospecting and Customer Relationships: Demonstrate strong prospecting skills and the ability to build customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting customer confidence in Sciens.
- Post-Contract Follow-up: Conduct post-contract acceptance follow-up by contacting customers, ensuring commitments were met, and affirming customer satisfaction.
- Needs Assessments and Sales Proposals: Perform needs assessments, develop sales proposals, estimates, and presentations, and provide accurate forecasts of activity and potential sales.
- Product and Service Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services and customers' requirements through in-house training, networking, and research.
- Marketing and Sales Materials: Utilize approved marketing materials to present sales presentations and proposals to prospects, assuring the customer understands our value proposition, positive features, and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.
- Time and Territory Management: Independently establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics, and consistently apply time and territory management techniques.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with systems sales, operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain sales, and develop and execute tactical sales strategies.
- Experience: Two to five years of meeting and succeeding quotas of selling service and maintenance contracts to end-user customers or related activity.
- Consultative Selling Expertise: Strong consultative selling expertise and ability to build customer relationships.
- Sales Performance: Consistent sales performance, ability to organically grow business by providing solutions to new client base.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Effective communication skills and ability to present before broad audiences, as well as strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
- Travel: Able to travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.
