Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a pediatric nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a pediatric patient in need of a caregiver in the Topsham area. Our team provides private duty nursing, skilled nursing, physical rehabilitation, and other services to individuals with chronic and acute illnesses and disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Perform focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse Unencumbered License for the state of Maine or another compact state.
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility).
  • Current BLS or AHA Healthcare Provider CPR Certification.
  • Flu vaccination.
  • Pediatric experience preferred (but not required).
