Job Title: Data Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to direct commercial banking data management activities and ensure data availability for use by appropriate consumers.
  • Manage execution within enterprise data management standards, data quality, and control practices.
  • Identify gaps in data management standards adherence and develop plans for resolution, ensuring compliance with relevant risk and compliance policies and standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and internal controls in accordance with established thresholds, standards, and policies.
  • Perform data governance role in overseeing client data supporting the Bank's financial crimes prevention programs.
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators for data quality and completeness.
  • Source and aggregate data across different platforms and perform data analysis and reconciliation as needed.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in data management and/or in financial crimes prevention program systems, processes, or data.
  • Knowledge of data management fundamentals and experience implementing data solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Above-average data querying and analytics skills using SQL, Alteryx, or other similar tools.
  • Intellectually curious critical thinker with the ability to analyze problems and identify both tactical and strategic solutions.
