Academic Faculty Pool: Nursing Lecturer Positions

The California State University is seeking qualified candidates for a pool of temporary and part-time Nursing Lecturer positions. These positions are open for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses, including theory and practicum courses.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Unencumbered California RN license.
- One-year full-time RN experience in the previous 5 years.
- Current BLS for practicum courses.
- Evidence of a sensitivity to, understanding of, and the ability to manage the classroom environment and effectively provide instruction to college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and racial/ethnic backgrounds.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.

Salary RangeThe salary range for these positions is as follows:
- Lecturer A/2: $5,007 – $6,359 per month.
- Lecturer B/3: $5,925 – $12,594 per month.
- Lecturer C/4: $6,500 – $13,831 per month.
- Lecturer D/5: $8,184 – $14,487 per month.
