Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Financial Reporting: Perform daily accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial information for management.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct month-end financial reviews, prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts, and review detailed general ledgers.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file sales and use tax reports.
  • Licensing and Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with licensing requirements, city business permits, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the Accounting Manager and Controller as needed and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve financial goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent with accounting training desirable.
  • Experience: Multi-unit restaurant/retail experience desired.
  • Skills: Knowledge of accounting principles, Great Plains, and/or Restaurant 365 experience preferred. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required.
  • Personal Qualities: Results-oriented professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, and discretion. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and/or within a team.
