Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Development and Club teams at Discovery Land Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to update business models for actuals and reforecasting.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance to build and review monthly cost of sales models.
  • Prepare 90-day cash flow forecasts and assist with tracking budget versus actuals.
  • Develop and present core monthly and quarterly Real Estate financial reports, including portfolio financial reviews.
  • Provide ad-hoc Real Estate analysis to investor groups, project, and corporate teams as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of the month-end consolidated financial reporting package.
  • Participate in the annual external audit exercise.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a general accountant or financial analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting concepts and practices.
  • Experience working in real estate development is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Sage accounting software (Intacct), Timberline, or similar software.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
