About the Role and the Company

AIG Insurance Management Services is in search of a seasoned captive insurance expert to represent our captive management operations. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service while upholding AIG's esteemed reputation in the captive management sector. The ability to achieve results professionally within a corporate environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will manage a select portfolio of captive insurance entities while assisting colleagues with larger portfolios. You will act as the primary liaison for all captive operations, overseeing the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards on behalf of captive owners.

This position requires you to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients, regulators, captive directors, and essential service providers. Our team is committed to delivering outstanding customer service, being responsive, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

  • Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, prepare financial statements, and ensure captives adhere to all regulatory obligations accurately and punctually.
  • Non-Routine Client Management: Address special client requests, such as modifications to business plans and the preparation of financial proformas. Keep stakeholders informed early regarding any non-standard changes and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Communication/Relationships: Manage daily communications with clients and service providers concerning captive business operations and insurance programs. Collaborate with various professionals, including domicile regulators, auditors, actuaries, and legal advisors.

Requirements for Success

  • Detail-oriented experience in accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or CPA preferred – Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Capability to complete tasks independently.
  • Willingness to contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
