Job Summary

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Assist with laboratory procedures, including phlebotomy and specimen collection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office.
