We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Imaging Services Assistant to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As an Imaging Services Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and transportation of patients for imaging procedures
- Coordinate with imaging staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely completion of procedures
- Provide administrative support to the imaging department, including data entry and record-keeping
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
This position requires the ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment. The Imaging Services Assistant will be required to lift patients and equipment, and may be exposed to hazardous materials and radiation.
