Job Summary:The primary responsibility of the Radiology Imaging Specialist is to obtain high-quality diagnostic images that help doctors make informed decisions about patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Prep patients for diagnostic imaging exams
- Produce x-ray films of body parts for use in diagnosing medical problems
- Instruct patients to undergo the appropriate positions to get accurate images
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
- Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
