Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Radiology Imaging Specialist is to obtain high-quality diagnostic images that help doctors make informed decisions about patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prep patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Produce x-ray films of body parts for use in diagnosing medical problems
  • Instruct patients to undergo the appropriate positions to get accurate images
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
  • Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
