About the Role:

The Field Service Technician is a key member of our North America Field Service Team, responsible for delivering high-quality customer service and performing preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach devices at customer sites. This role involves a combination of municipal and industrial customer bases, with a focus on ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
  • Promote a positive customer experience and serve as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
  • Submit prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
  • Follow safe work practices according to company policy.
  • Execute administrative activities in support of service visits.

Requirements:
  • Associates/Technical degree preferred, or combination of education and experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair helpful, but not required.
  • 1 or more years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
