Overview

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. is a leading national law firm seeking experienced attorneys to join our Los Angeles/Glendale Office. We are looking for professionals with a strong background in General Liability defense litigation to contribute to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on litigation risks and outcomes, legal rights and obligations, and other relevant matters.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments to present cases effectively.
  • Conduct thorough legal reviews and analyses, and advise on issues related to the area of law practiced.
  • Prepare and attend mediations and hearings as required, and interact with clients to resolve case-related issues.
  • Integrate best practices and standards in handling clients and their cases, and ensure timely preparation of discovery and responses to opposing parties.
  • Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones, meeting requirements for designated minimum billable time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the firm.
Qualifications
  • Experience in General Liability defense litigation is essential.
  • A Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited university is required.
  • Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing with the State of California bar, and able to be admitted in all Federal District Courts in California.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are necessary.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Westlaw, and time-billing software is essential.
