Neuroradiology Clinical Educator

Position Overview: The Division of Neuroradiology within the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Miami Health System and Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine is actively seeking a fellowship-trained professional for a full-time faculty role. This position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor within the clinical educator track.

Core Responsibilities:
- Engage in active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
- Contribute to the education and advancement of medical students, residents, and fellows in diagnostic radiology.
- Provide clinical imaging services, interpreting plain film, CT, and MR studies.
- Participate in teaching activities, including clinical research, journal clubs, and multidisciplinary conferences.
- Supervise technical personnel and participate in the on-call radiology schedule.
- Ensure quality assurance in the practice of neuroradiology.
- Offer neuroradiology consultations as needed.
- Assume administrative duties related to neuroradiology practice.
- Engage in educational activities across various programs, including residency and fellowship programs.
- Participate in the development and management of clinical research initiatives.
- Serve on departmental and university committees as requested.
Educational Qualifications:
- Medical Degree
- Completion of a Diagnostic Radiology Residency
- Completion of a Neuroradiology Fellowship
Licensing and Certification:
- American Board of Radiology Certified or Board Eligible
- Florida Medical License or eligibility
Experience Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will have completed at least one year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Neuroradiology. Experience in a university faculty setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to provide clinical imaging services and interpret various imaging studies.
- Engagement in teaching and clinical research activities.
