Job Title: Nonprofit Fund Development Specialist

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year. This salary estimate is based on the location and industry standards.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nonprofit Fund Development Specialist to join our team at Achievement Institute for STEM Scholars. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our annual fundraising plan to ensure we meet or exceed our fundraising goals.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, with a strong understanding of written and visual messaging. You will work closely with our Executive Director to develop and track proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising.

You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating fundraising events, including our annual gala, and securing auction items and donations. Additionally, you will manage project workflow and oversee daily milestones with our management and development team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute AISS annual fundraising plan
  • Secure financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporations
  • Manage donor tracking and record keeping
  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors
  • Create strategy for large sustained base of individual donors
  • Assist Executive Director in developing and tracking proposals and reports
  • Plan and coordinate fundraising events
  • Research and identify potential new donors
