Job Description:

Solventum is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our 3rd Shift team in Meriden, CT. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant-wide equipment, including robotics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

The Impact You'll Make:
  • Provide technical assistance for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of plant-wide equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex equipment problems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and techniques for a safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant.
  • Analyze available data to improve the equipment maintenance plan.
  • Train and develop the maintenance and production workforce.
Your Skills and Expertise:
  • Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher.
  • Ability to work rotating weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:

  • PIV certification.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Possess a good understanding of mechanical design and operation, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, lubrication, etc.
  • Basic understanding of predictive/preventative maintenance and condition monitoring techniques.

Work Location: Onsite - 400 Research Pkwy, Meriden, CT 06450

Travel: No Travel
