Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team at The Bainbridge Companies. As a Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and internal team members, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete lease forms and collect rental deposits in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure model apartments and target apartments are ready for show, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of lease terms, community policies, and current market conditions.
  • Utilize effective sales and communication techniques to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date on current rental rates, sizes, locations, and amenities of the property.
  • Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational materials.
  • Conduct market research and develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Develop and maintain an ongoing resident retention program, working closely with the Property Manager.
  • Process administrative forms, reports, and related information in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
  • Provide courteous and efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
  • Seek opportunities for personal growth and development, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • A High School education or equivalent is required; a college degree is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Ability to fluently read and write English.
  • Accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions and use on-site resident management software.
Professional Experience

No specific previous experience is required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential.

Attendance/Travel

Ability to work any day of the week, 52 weeks a year, with flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary. Ability to travel to attend company gatherings or training sessions.

Licenses/Equipment

A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance are required, as well as the ability to use a personal vehicle for job-related functions.
