Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Orthopedic Surgical Team at Dosher Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures, including setting up instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Assist the surgeon and other members of the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Perform accurate counts of supplies and equipment before and after procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and cleaning of instruments and equipment for terminal sterilization.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Requirements
  • CST Certification (Required)
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (Preferred)

Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
