MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media.
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images accordingly.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
- Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records.
- Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
- Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
- Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
- Most states require licensure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Weekly pay and direct deposit.
