Cyber Security Analyst Job Description

At Peerless Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement security requirements and risk management frameworks to protect against cyber threats.
  • Support the analysis and mitigation of cybersecurity risks across multiple systems and programs.
  • Develop and maintain security plans, control plans, and program protection plans to minimize risks associated with IT system vulnerabilities.
  • Review proposed new systems, software, and hardware for potential security risks and stay current on IT security trends and news.
  • Manage RMF authorizations, including IATT, Authorization to Operate, and connection authorizations.
  • Perform security analysis, auditing, and compliance verification for multiple systems.
  • Manage Clinger Cohen Act and federal budget reporting requirements via USAF specific repositories.
  • Manage eMASS records, including security controls, supporting artifacts, and POA&Ms.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
  • Ability to maintain positive and productive working relationships with various individuals and groups.
  • Ability to recognize and initiate tasks without direction.
  • Knowledge and experience with risk management and related applications.
  • Knowledge of currently marketed security tools and technologies.
  • Ability to understand and assimilate complex technical information.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and simplify complex problems for stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree and Top Secret clearance.
