Medical Assistant Primary Care Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including patient assessment, education, and support
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Assist with clinical procedures, including injections, prescription refills, and diagnostic tests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements:
  • MA credentialing required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Current BLS or CPR/AED certification at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire
  • 1-3 years of clinic experience or related experience in a medical setting
  • Proven knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA compliance
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, including basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and EMR systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current nationally registered as Certified Medical Assistant
  • EMR training
