Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Primary Care team at Ochsner Health System. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist with patient education and support, promoting health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
