About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and empathetic Caregiver to provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care services, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care services, including incontinence care and mobility assistance
  • Offer companionship and social support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Transport clients to and from appointments as needed
  • Document client care and report any changes in their condition

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of professional caregiving experience
  • Weekend availability
  • Total Care experience a plus
  • Dementia experience a plus
  • Valid Driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • Experience working in a community setting
  • CNA school, active or former CNA is a plus
  • Licensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA is a plus
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from work
  • Successful completion of all state requirements and required state and Company training
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Pass a background check
  • Pass an Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) check, as defined by Texas law
  • Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions, and document timely and accurately in systems
  • Empathy for the needs of the client
  • Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and presents a positive public image
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of the clients medical information

Preferred Skills, Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Have a smartphone
