Certified Medication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Aide to contribute to the success of Trinity Healthcare LLC. Our CARE culture values the lives of our residents and community, and we are committed to providing the highest degree of quality care.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to make independent decisions, possess up-to-date knowledge of drugs and their side effects specific to the elderly population, and accurately record drug administration and resident reaction to medications.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to physician's orders and established policies and procedures.
- Reorder medicine from the pharmacy and notify the charge nurse when medications are unavailable.
Qualifications:
- Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
- Previous nursing home experience is preferred.
