About the Role

CoolSys is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in commercial settings
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure system efficiency and reliability
  • Test and inspect systems to ensure they meet customer requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • EPA certification required
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems along with previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes is very helpful
