About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current state RN license or multistate compact license.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
