Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with expertise in a wide range of technical subjects. They will also have a strong desire to help build and maintain a world-class training program in a dynamic industry-defining organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality, engaging technical content and lab exercises on various applications in concert with factory subject matter experts.
  • Maintain lab training spaces to ensure a safe and effective training environment.
  • Design and deliver quality learner evaluations with written and hands-on assessments.
  • Effectively deliver equipment-specific training to maintenance technicians and engineers in classroom and field settings using various presentation formats.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Training Systems and Development team to manage content storage and identify and track metrics of success.
  • Provide comprehensive schedule management and tracking of learners' completed and required training in Tesla's Learning Management software system.
  • Design, build, and maintain high-fidelity hands-on lab equipment to supplement instructor-led trainings.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of manufacturing robotics equipment and/or processes.
  • Innovative, flexible, positive teaching style and understanding of students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with teams and peers within the Training, Maintenance, and Engineering organizations.
  • Command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support learning.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware, tools, instruments, and methods applicable to manufacturing robotics processes.
  • Understanding of and commitment to Tesla's teaching, mission, and philosophy.
