The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services (EVS) professional to lead our team as an EVS Director. As a key member of our hospital operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our EVS department, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Your primary objective will be to develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. You will work closely with our Regional Managers, RHM stakeholders, and other departments to achieve our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of EVS staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with RHM quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic plans to address them
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to optimize budget management and resource allocation

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Housekeeping/Environmental Services, preferably in a corporate or multi-hospital environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of JCAHO, Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and codes related to safety, sanitation, and maintenance
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, planning, delegation, coaching, and communication skills
