We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Vice Chair of Education Associate/Full Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the educational programs of the core residency, fellowships, and medical student rotations.
- Develop and implement educational research initiatives in the Department.
- Participate in the recruitment of potential residents and fellows.
- Report to Perelman School of Medicine leadership regarding the medical student experience across rotations.
- Collaborate with the Department Chair and leadership team to promote excellence in educational efforts.
- MD or MD/Ph.D. degree or equivalent.
- ABA certification in anesthesiology.
- Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
- Prior leadership experience and record of successful teaching/mentorship.
- Experience in academic leadership and education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
