Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families during this critical time.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide family-centered patient teaching and support
  • Identify and correct variances from the patient care plan
  • Facilitate discharge planning and teaching
  • Administer medications and document patient responses
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 1 year of acute care experience
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
